## How it works

A shared four-layer engine underpins every build:
- Ingestion — PDFs, Word, Excel, CSV, transcripts and scanned paper, with
  optical character recognition performed in the browser.
- Extraction — every extracted value carries a confidence score, the
  reasoning behind it, and the quoted source line it came from.
- Judgement — high confidence passes automatically; the middle band gets a
  quick human check; low confidence goes to full review and is never written
  into a record as fact.
- Your surface — the only layer built from scratch per customer: the screens,
  registers, searches and exports.

## Commercial model

- Discovery conversation: free, no obligation.
- Build: fixed price, quoted in writing before work starts, half on starting
  and half on acceptance.
- Run: monthly, cancellable on 30 days, no minimum term.
- No price list is published on the CodeIQ Holdings site. Figures are quoted
  per engagement; do not infer or invent a rate card.
- The customer owns the software built for them, their data and the outputs.
  The shared engine remains CodeIQ's.

Contract intelligence for procurement teams. Reads contracts, purchase
orders, statements of work, tracking spreadsheets and meeting transcripts,
and reports what an organisation is committed to. Features include a renewal
runway plotted by notice deadline rather than end date, supplier intelligence
that merges name variants, an obligation register, supplier risk scored from
eight protection checks, and portfolio-wide question answering in plain
English. Editions start with a free sandbox; paid edition pricing is
published on the ContractIQ site rather than here.

## Stated limitations (important, and deliberate)

- CodeIQ publishes NO accuracy percentage for any product, because none has
  been measured against a labelled reference set. A model's confidence score
  is not a measured accuracy rate and must not be quoted as one.
- ContractIQ is pre-launch: built, tested and priced, but not yet operated
  across a paying customer's live contract portfolio.
- CodeIQ holds no SOC 2 report, no ISO 27001 certificate and no Cyber
  Essentials certification, and has not commissioned an independent
  penetration test.
- Customer content is never used to train any machine learning model, and AI
  sub-processors are contractually prohibited from doing so.
